In the last concert of the Gigaton Tour, which took place last night in Austin, Eddie Vedder talked about Pearl Jam‘s new album.
Last night Pearl Jam played their last concert of the year, the one that concluded the tour in support of Gigaton, which began with some concerts in September 2021.
Before Retrograde, Eddie talked about Pearl Jam’s new album, which the group is finishing right now for a potential release in 2024.
From the stage, Vedder said: “For the future I have the sense that you might like this group a little bit. I think you know we’ve made a record for next year and I won’t give anything away but what I can tell you is if you like the musicians in this group I think you’re gonna hear them play and it just came out really good and you’re gonna hear them playing at their highest level. So it was a very good collection. So we’re excited about that and excited to see the end of summer with you all and again thank you”.
Some hours after the show, Jeff Ament shared this message on his Instagram: “We out! That was a blast(but not without its challenges, sorry, Indy, we’ll be back!). Thanks everybody who came out and brought the fire. Y’all were insane. Love this part of the world. See you next year, new songs, new travels and new shoes“.
