It’s all true: Andrew Watt is going to be the producer of the new Rolling Stones album. The first after 18 years titled Hackney Diamonds, coming out October 20th. The new album by Jagger and Richards’ band will feature artists as Bill Wyman, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Lady Gaga. It was recorded in December 2022 and mixed in the first months of 2023.
Watt, who was awarded as best producer many times in his career, is also working on the new Pearl Jam album, their 12th, that should be out in 2024. Andrew is a member of The Earthlings, Eddie Vedder live band, and is also the producer of Earthling, Vedder 3rd solo album, published last year.
Born in 1990 in New York City, Watt started to be known and appreciated as a producer after working with artists as Justin Bieber, Post Malone and Camila Cabello. Lately Andrew Watt came back to “his first love” and became the producer of important rock and metal bands as Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, Morrisey and Elton John.
