Pixies, IDLES and White Reaper are the opening acts Pearl Jam have chosen to open their 2020 European tour.
After a few years featuring “An Evening with Pearl Jam”, the Seattle band picked 3 bands that will open their European summer shows.
Pixies, the indie rock pioneers, will be the prestigious opening act in Imola and London.
IDLES, the aggressive Bristol punk rockers will open Pearl Jam shows in Frankfurt, Berlin and Copenhagen; while White Reaper, a Kentucky garage punk band, will be the opening act in Vienna, London, Krakow, Budapest, Zurich and Amsterdam shows.
Born in Reggio Emilia in 1980. He created pearljamonline.it in 2001 and wrote the first edition of “Pearl Jam Evolution” in 2009 along with his wife Daria. Since 2022, he is behind 2 podcasts: “Pearl Jam dalla A alla Z” and “Fuori Orario Not Another Podcast”. He has collaborated with Barracuda Style, HvsR, Rolling Stone, Rockol and Il Fatto Quotidiano. He continues relentlessly to try to find “beautiful melodies that say terrible things”.
