Matt Cameron won’t play with Foo Fighters

The rumors emerged in recent weeks that Matt Cameron would be performing as the live drummer for Foo Fighters have been denied by Matt himself.

On the anniversary of the death of Taylor Hawkins, Matt Cameron denied the rumors spread by The Sun that he would be the live drummer for Foo Fighters’ upcoming North American tour.

In an Instagram story, Matt wrote: “For your information the internet rumors are false, I haven’t joined the Foos ❤️”.

The Sun had also reported that both Matt and the other drummer supposed to be on rotation with him for some dates (Atom Willard of Angels & Airwaves) had been rehearsing at the Foos’ Studio 606.

Interestingly, on February 9 Willard posted a video on his Instagram page of him playing “Good Grief” by Foo Fighters at Studio 606…
