The new TV show created and directed by Cameron Crowe (Singles, Almost Famous, Pearl Jam Twenty) premiered on Showtime on June 26. Produced, among others, by J. J. Abrams and Kelly Curtis (Pearl Jam’s manager), the show follows a group of roadies working for the fictional arena rock group Staton-House Band as they tour the United States. Each episode features different musical guests and Pearl Jam fans won’t be disappointed (Eddie Vedder has just been confirmed to appear in the season finale, which airs August 28).
Twin Peaks
Speaking of TV shows, Eddie Vedder is also set to appear in the new season of Twin Peaks, David Lynch’s legendary series returning to the small screen in 2017, after 27 years. Here’s the massive cast list for the new series. No word yet on what character he is playing or how large his part will be, but you know… the owls are not what they seem.
