Five Horizons Exhibition ~ Five Horizons is the title of the first international photo exhibition dedicated to Pearl Jam to be held from June 13 to July 30 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. The retrospective traces the history and evolution of Pearl Jam through seventy shots taken by great photographers who have followed the band from their first beginnings to the present day, from the early 90s shots of Lance Mercer and Charles Peterson, until the very recent portraits of Steve Gullick and Danny Clinch.
Also on display, the winner of the photo contest previously launched by 5H and addressed to fans, who have been asked to send their photos of the band taken over the years. Designers Brad Klausen and Ben Brown created two limited edition posters, available for sale at the exhibit (and soon online). The website is fivehorizons-exhibition.com. Do not miss it!
Mind Your Manners: new Pearl Jam single? ~ No official word on it, but the first single off Pearl Jam's new studio album could be released on July 16 via Republic Records (part of Universal Music Group). The song, titled "Mind Your Manners", was listed as an upcoming release on AllAccess.com (reference point for all American radio stations) and immediately relaunched by the guys at Grunge Report. So far, there has been no confirmation or denial from Pearl Jam's camp and the entry has since been removed from AllAccess.com.
