Per il Record Store Day, la Loosegroove Records pubblicherà la compilation House of LSGRV 2024 Loosegroove Records Artist Compilation.
La Loosegroove Records è un’etichetta discografica con sede a Seattle creata e gestita dal chitarrista e cantautore Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam, Painted Shield, Brad) e dal batterista Regan Hagar (Brad, Malfunkshun, Satchel).
Distribuita tramite The Orchard, la Loosegroove si è distinta per gli artisti che ha pubblicato e sta pubblicando, come i Tigercub, il cantautore Jonny Polonsky, il cantante folk Mason Jennings, i Painted Shield, Brittany Davis, i James and the Cold Gun, Zoser e tanti altri.
La Loosegroove Records ha iniziato negli anni ’90 pubblicando un disco inedito dei Malfunkshun, con Regan Hagar e Andy Wood, i Critters Buggin e i Weapon of Choice. Nel 1998 hanno pubblicato il disco di debutto dei Queens of the Stone Age e diverse compilation hip-hop e alcune colonne sonore, come quella di Chicago Cab. L’etichetta ha cessato le attività nel 2000, nel corso del 2020 ha iniziato nuovamente l’attività pubblicando diversi dischi molto interessanti, come quello dei Living, con Duff McKagan.

Nasce nel 1980 a Reggio Emilia. Crea pearljamonline.it nel 2001 e scrive la prima edizione di “Pearl Jam Evolution” nel 2009 insieme alla moglie Daria. Dal 2022, conduce due podcast: “Pearl Jam dalla A alla Z” e “Fuori Orario Not Another Podcast”. Ha collaborato con Barracuda Style, HvsR, Rolling Stone, Rockol e Il Fatto Quotidiano. Continua imperterrito a tentare di trovare “belle melodie che dicono cose terribili”.
