Every Record Store Day lights up that part of your brain that tries to stay rational… and completely fails. Because when Pearl Jam announce a limited release, falling straight down the rabbit hole is always just one step away.

For Record Store Day 2026 (Saturday, April 18, 2026), we’re getting React, Respond: a 7” vinyl featuring two live recordings tied to the Dark Matter era. So far, pretty classic PJ territory. But here’s the twist – this release isn’t meant to be a standalone single you grab and file away. It’s designed as part of something bigger.
The 7” will not be sold separately. It’ll be available exclusively bundled with the official photo book React\Respond by Geoff Whitman – one single package, vinyl + book. So if you were hoping to snag just the record, bad news: there’s no standalone option this time.
And honestly, that’s kind of the whole point. This isn’t about adding another 7” to your shelf – it’s about creating a conversation between sound and image. The book captures the tour through Geoff’s lens; the vinyl adds two live moments as the physical soundtrack to that story.
7” tracklist:
- React, Respond – Live in Nashville, May 8, 2025
- Won’t Tell – Live in Philadelphia, September 7, 2024
Both tracks were recorded during the band’s most recent world tour and perfectly capture Pearl Jam where they feel most natural: on stage. The 7” + book bundle will be available exclusively in the United States, limited to 1,500 copies, and sold only through participating Record Store Day shops.
Below you’ll find the videos of the two songs included on the React, Respond 7”.
