Pearl Jam will not perform on Barack Obama’s 60th birthday

An official representative of the band confirmed to PearlJamOnline.it that Pearl Jam will not be performing at Barack Obama’s 60th birthday party.

For his 60th birthday, former President Barack Obama is hosting a party at his family’s $12M 30-acre oceanfront Martha’s Vineyard estate this coming weekend, Axios reports. There are 475 confirmed guests, including George a looney, Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey, and 200+ staff planning to work the party. Guests will reportedly be asked to take a coronavirus test and be vaccinated ahead of the event.

Pearl Jam is expected to play at Barack Obama’s birthday bash and one local hairdresser had been retained to style the hair of a band member.

According to reuters.com, Barack Obama has scaled back plans to celebrate his 60th birthday this weekend, a spokeswoman said on Thursday, citing the spread of the highly contagious COVID-19 Delta variant.
