On April 29, 2005, Pearl Jam held a secret concert at Easy Street Records in Seattle, an event that was immortalized in the live EP Live at Easy Street, released in 2006. For Record Store Day 2019, the vinyl version of this EP was reissued, offering fans a unique opportunity to own a rare recording in physical format.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this historic event, Pearl Jam has created a limited-edition t-shirt, designed by bassist Jeff Ament in collaboration with artist Ian Williams. The design plays with the title of the song Lukin, adding a touch of visual irony that fans will surely appreciate.
The t-shirt is available in limited quantities and can be pre-ordered starting today, with official availability from April 12: easystreetonline.com
This celebration is not only an opportunity to remember a magical moment in Pearl Jam’s history but also a tribute to the Seattle music scene and the crucial role independent record stores like Easy Street Records play. For fans, this t-shirt represents much more than just a collectible item: it’s a piece of the band’s history, a symbol of the authentic and direct connection Pearl Jam has always maintained with their audience.
