Starting mid February, Fender will release a Mike McCready’s guitar replica on its website.
Next month, the Fender Custom Shop will start selling on its website a reproduction of the famous Stratocaster ’59 – that has been recently discovered actually being from 1960 – owned by the Pearl Jam guitarist. The guitar will be on sale for $14.999, it will come with a certificate of authenticity signed by Mike McCready and will only be available in 60 pieces.
Today, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron paid tribute to Sylvain Sylvain through their social accounts. The New York Dolls guitarist, an iconic band of the American glam rock, died this morning after a battle with cancer.
