Some exciting news has been buzzing lately for Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam fans, with special events and hints that the band might be hitting the road again soon.

On October 3rd, Eddie Vedder will take the stage at the Backyard Concert 2025, celebrating its 10th anniversary. The show goes down in Pacific Palisades, California, and supports Teen Cancer America and UCLA Health, particularly programs for autism and communities affected by the 2025 wildfires.
The lineup is insane: The Who (in their last U.S. show of the Farewell Tour), John Fogerty playing tracks from his new album Legacy: The Creedence Clearwater Revival Years, Def Leppard, The Doobie Brothers, Peter Frampton, Eddie Vedder, Cheap Trick, and Joe Bonamassa. The evening will be hosted by Judd Apatow. Before this show, Eddie will play with his Earthlings at the Ohana Festival on September 26.
On October 23rd, Mike McCready hits Seattle for the Icons of Pop Culture Gala at MoPOP. The event celebrates iconic figures and creations in pop culture, with McCready joining an all-star Jimi Hendrix tribute. Honorees include costume designer Ruth E. Carter, Fraggle Rock, 206 Zulu, and creative house Evil Geniuses. A Hendrix tribute in his hometown? That’s next-level symbolic.
The next day, October 24, the guitarist’s gonna hit up the annual Epicure going down at the Fremont Studios in Seattle. You can grab tickets here.
And then, a little insider scoop that got fans buzzing. Todd Luttinen shared on the Official Pearl Jam Ten Club Members Facebook group that he met Eddie Vedder after a Neil Young / Chrome Hearts show in Woodinville. They chatted about albums, tours, and memories, and Eddie dropped what fans have been waiting to hear: “We are practicing and it won’t be long before we hit the road again”.
Simple words, but enough to light a fire under fans itching to see Pearl Jam live again. And the big question remains—who’s gonna be their new drummer? That’s the mystery everyone’s dying to see solved.
