Eddie Vedder has announced his first-ever solo tour of Japan, set for April 2026. The run includes four theater shows in Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo, marking a major milestone for the Pearl Jam frontman as a solo performer in the country.

The tour, billed as An Evening with Eddie Vedder, will focus on his solo catalog while also pulling material from across his entire career.

Tour dates
  • April 14, 2026 – Nagoya, Forest Hall
  • April 16, 2026 – Osaka, Festival Hall
  • April 17, 2026 – Kyoto, Rohm Theater
  • April 20, 2026 – Tokyo, Garden Theater

Tickets go on sale to the general public on February 14 at 10:00 AM. Ten Club members will have access to a dedicated presale, with details available through official channels.

Back to Japan after 2025 visit

The announcement comes about a year after Vedder’s most recent trip to Japan in 2025, when he visited the country with his family. During that stay, Ed also made a surprise appearance onstage at a Jack White show, joining him for a performance of Rockin’ in the Free World by Neil Young.

First solo tour since 2019

The Japan dates mark Eddie Vedder’s first full solo tour since his 2019 European run, which was also presented under the An Evening with Eddie Vedder banner. Following that tour — aside from the pandemic shutdown in 2020 and 2021 — Vedder has mostly been on the road with the Earthlings, the live band formed after the release of his third solo album Earthling in 2022.

In recent years, true solo appearances have been rare, limited to special events such as the two acoustic shows at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall in 2023, held as benefits for the EB Research Partnership.

The 2026 Japan tour brings Eddie Vedder back to a solo setting after several years away from that format.
