"Better Days", new song! ~ On June 9, 2010, due to an "oversight", a new song was streaming on the website of Monkeywrench Records, Pearl Jam’s label. The audio file was almost immediately removed and the site is now closed to the public, but some fans managed to rip the song in question, titled "Better Days" and performed by Ed Vedder (listen here). Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, it was later discovered that the song will be included in the movie "Eat, Pray, Love" (based on Elizabeth Gilbert's bestseller of the same name), directed by Ryan Murphy and starring Julia Roberts, Javier Bardem and Billy Crudup. The film will hit American theatres on August 13. It is still unknown whether the track will be included in the movie soundtrack or not. Note: one of the songs recorded in 2001/2002 for Pearl Jam studio album "Riot Act" was a track named "Better Days"...
*UPDATE* (06.22.10) "Better Days" by Eddie Vedder is now officially available on iTunes (USA store) for $0,99. The song will also be included in the "Eat, Pray, Love" soundtrack, out July 20.

"Amongst The Waves" is the third single from Backspacer ~ On June 21 the third single from "Backspacer" will be released. "Amongst The Waves", featuring "The End" as a b-side, will be available as vinyl, digital download, and (perhaps) CDs.
Holiday Single, finally! ~ The band's annual single is arriving to fan club members these days. Side A is an original song written by Mike McCready, titled "Turning Mist". The track was recorded by all Pearl Jam members (minus Vedder) and features McCready on vocals. The b-side is "Hawaii '78" performed by Vedder and Boom with Tavana during one of Vedder's solo dates in Hawaii in 2009.
